Make sure you have a reputable dealer and/or business when you buy a knitting machine. Not only can you glean information from them, but you also can purchase needed parts, get your machine cleaned and buy yarn. Take all the classes that he/she may offer, and go to the seminars that they may offer as well. Also go to as many seminars in your local area, as well, or join one of many clubs that may be in your area. And if there isn't a local club....start one. Lastly go online. There are multitudes of excellent sites that have valuable information.

Be patient, there is a learning curve here. You won't learn this in one day, but it is worth it.
