However many guests you have, is how many cookies each person brings, 10 persons, 10 dozen cookies.

Each guest brings his or her own container to bring their cookies home in.

Set up all the cookies on a long table where the chairs have been removed. Each person goes around the table and collects 12 of every cookie. The host takes the names of each guest and their cookie so there aren’t duplicates.

A couple of things to do before or after the exchange:

• Have assorted crackers, cheese and wine/punch and dessert
  
• Have Christmas carols on a sheet and sing songs
  
• Do an ice breaker….put famous names on the backs of each guest and they try and guess who they are by asking ONLY yes and no questions
